Vision Screening Programs
India Vision Institute is dedicated to transforming lives through our vision screening programs, providing primary eye care to underprivileged children and underserved adults. We conduct vision screenings, provide spectacles to those in need, and deliver quality eye care through vision centres and mobile vans.
Our services include correcting refractive errors, diagnosing eye conditions, providing referrals for further treatment and offering teleconsultations.

Eye See & I Learn vision screens underprivileged school children to help them see better, study well, enjoy a better quality of life and have the freedom to follow their dreams.

Eye See & I Work focuses on underserved adults who lack access to primary eye care. It ensures beneficiaries receive a pair of eyeglasses and a consultation at the camp allowing them to see clearly, perform daily tasks effectively, increase their independence and productivity.​​
Approximately 59% of adults require eyeglasses correction. Many are first-time wearers of spectacles, meaning that they are getting their eyes checked for the first time. IVI works with a range of partners — eye hospitals, non-government organisations, government, community-based organisations, volunteers and health workers among others – to provide primary eye care access in underprivileged communities.
​​Our programs provide vision screening and free-of-cost spectacles to those in need, diagnose patients with cataract and other eye ailments and refer them to hospital, as well as follow-up with beneficiaries to address queries.

Beneficiaries have included transgender individuals, weavers, sculptors, fishermen, drivers, prisoners, firecracker workers, farmers, etc.
