Eyecare Sector Management Consultant since Jan 2020 One of the pioneers in the organized lens industry Mr. Ramachandran is an expert in the field, has been associated with Essilor India nearing two decades . He has held various positions in the organization as a Group Chief Operating Officer for South Asia( India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal) and last held the position of Special Advisor and Director in the Board of the company and relinquished the position in Essilor at the end of 2019. Having 34 years of corporate experience, he is a seasoned executive who has worked in several streams across the corporate sector and performed Sales , Marketing and Business development functions. Ram entered the optical industry in the early part of 1986 associated with Tata group Forbes Gokak Ltd – the company being the first in mass scale manufacturing of casting plastic spectacle lenses in India.
Dr R Krishna Kumar is IVI's Honorary Adviser. He is a freelance optometrist and a reputed educationist. Dr Krishna Kumar was formerly Principal (Head of Department) of the Elite School of Optometry (ESO), a unit of the Medical Research Foundation in Chennai. He holds graduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in Optometry from the Elite School of Optometry and has been associated with the institution since 1992, until 2020. He headed the Occupational Optometry Services Department at Sankara Nethralaya from 2010 to 2020, and has successfully supervised Masters and PhD student projects, and has produced 28 peer-reviewed publications. He also has two optometry books to his credit. From 2010, he has focused on a unique optometry speciality called occupational optometry services and has created vision standards for more than 20 different occupations in both organized and unorganized sectors. In addition to optometry qualifications, he also holds masters in psychology and a fellowship in British dispensing optics (FBDO).
Dr K Ramachandra Murthy
Ramachandra Murthy Kondubhatla, born at Tallada village in Khammam district of Telangana, is a journalist and author, and has been active in social service, including in Dalit upliftment. A journalist since 1973, he is at present Adviser (Public Policy) to the Andhra Pradesh government. He holds a postgraduate (MA) degree in Political Science, PhD in management, and a postgraduate degree in Journalism from Osmania University. Versatile in both Telugu and English languages, Dr Murthy has the distinction of launching several newspapers and media houses. He has been Editor of four Telugu-language dailies - Udayam, Vartha, Andhra Jyothy and Sakshi. He was Managing Director of a media company, Hyderabad Media House, and the founder-CEO of HMTV, a Telugu news channel, and founder-Chief Editor of The Hans India, an English daily. He has played a catalytic role in getting the SC & ST Sub Plan Act passed by the AP Assembly in 2013, and organized a series of 26 town hall meetings under the banner 'Andhra Pradesh Dasa-Disa' on the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in all the districts of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He is author of books in Telugu and English and has received numerous awards for his work in journalism and social service.
Dilip Chenoy is Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He leads the permanent secretariat of the industry chamber, which is the largest and oldest apex business organization in India, and a potent voice for policy change. FICCI represents over 2,50,000 members through Member Bodies covering all the States of India. Before joining FICCI, Dilip served as Managing Director & CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). NSDC fosters private sector investment and initiatives in training and skill development. Mr Chenoy has also worked in several key industry organizations, including SIAM as its Director General. He was a member of the Harvard Business School project under Professor Michael Porter that worked on the competitiveness of Indian industry. With varied experiences of working in the private sector, he advises start-ups including organizations in the digital, education, skills and livelihood space. He has also served as Chairman of an Engineering Institute. A fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science (WAPS), he was awarded the Indian Achievers Award in 2018, The Game Changer Award in 2015 and the Rashtriya Media Ratan Award in 2013.

She is a seasoned sustainability professional renowned for expertise in ESG practices, decarbonization, net-zero strategies, CSR, and social impact. Ekta has received prestigious global awards, including the Prince Michael International Award at London and Shell Global CEO award at Hague for her contributions to sustainable development.

Over her 23-year career, Ekta has worked in banking, consulting, telecom, energy, and electronics, gaining a comprehensive understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities in diverse sectors. Beyond consulting, Ekta serves on multiple boards and is a distinguished speaker at prominent platforms like IIM, ISB, IRMA, and industry associations.
Harish Velji graduated from the New Zealand Certificate of Engineering and Diploma of Management. Over the last 17 years, he has been working as a Project Manager for the Transport Workers Union in Australia.
He has volunteered in community activities for over 40 years. He has been a go-to person for many South Asian communities on issues relating to their communities. Previously, he was the Australian Federal Government’s South Asian advisory board member.
He has an active interest in Australia-India relations and has actively promoted events around it. He has also visited India with Labor Party politicians.He has been championing multicultural communities and has organized various events, including ‘Multicultural Eid’ and ‘Multicultural Diwali. He has been Ambassador for organizations that promote prevention of domestic violence. Harish has been honored with the highest award of the Labor Party – The McKell Award.
