Leadership and Management Training

Effective leadership and management skills are essential for operating successful eye care practices. Our specialized training programs cultivate these skills in eye care professionals. Through interactive sessions and real-world case studies, participants learn to manage their practice, lead teams effectively, and deliver exceptional patient care.

The Young Leadership Program (YLP) is a well-regarded initiative designed to identify and nurture young individuals with the potential to become future leaders in eye care. YLP focuses on cultivating leadership and management skills among eye care professionals. The program is open to optometry and public health professionals between the ages of 22 and 40.

YLP offers a dynamic blend of online lectures, interactive activities, and the development of eye health project proposals with accompanying implementation strategies. Complemented by carefully curated workshops, the program equips participants with the essential skills and insights needed to address eye care challenges, raise public awareness, and elevate eye care standards across India.

The curriculum encompasses a broad spectrum, covering key areas such as practical leadership, social entrepreneurship, communications and advocacy, resource utilization, community health, eye care delivery, holistic systems thinking, interpersonal skills, and personal growth. This ensures a comprehensive learning journey tailored for emerging leaders in optometry and public health in India.
