Program Assistant
The Program Assistant plays a key role in assisting Program Officers during eye screening camps, managing patient coordination, and providing logistical support for various eye care initiatives. This role involves organizing and directing patients for consultations, maintaining accurate patient records, and performing data entry tasks. The Program Assistant will also support in preparing daily reports, following up with patients needing further treatment, and participating in organizational activities. Mobility and flexibility are critical, as the Program Assistant will travel across districts and states based on project needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, a go-getter, and willing to take on any tasks both during camps and in the office, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification:
Any graduation. Proficiency in MS Office is an advantage, with the ability to learn quickly if unfamiliar.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Program Officers (Optometrists) during eye screening camps.
Coordinate and manage the flow of patients for consultations with the optometrists.
Record patient details in registers and perform data entry of patient information into the system.
Prepare and support the optometrists in generating daily reports from screening camps.
Make follow-up calls to patients diagnosed with cataracts for further treatment coordination.
Participate in organizational activities and contribute to the smooth running of both camp and office duties.
Travel to various districts and states as required by the project.
