Session II - Charles Bonnet Syndrome
IVI coordinated the live telecast of the talk on Charles Bonnet Syndrome hosted at LVPEI- KAR Campus, Hyderabad on Wednesday, 04 November 2015.
52 optometry professionals including practitioners and optometry educators registered for the talk with IVI.
The session was facilitated by Mr Scot Muirden- Director, Charles Bonnet Syndrome Foundation (CBSF), Australia. During his presentation, Mr Muirden introduced the audience to the concept of CBS and how it can cause vivid, complex, recurring visual hallucinations, usually (but not only) in older adults with later-life vision loss and discussed about further required interventions.
The audience highly appreciated the opportunity provided by LVPEI and IVI for organizing live webcast of this session.
