IVI, in collaboration with LVPEI, organized a Low Vision Awareness
Program on 3 April 2015. Through live webcast, nearly 100 participants at the
LVPEI KAR Campus in Hyderabad were joined by staff at other campuses including
the GMRV Campus in Vishakhapatnam, BEI Campus in Bhubaneshwar and KVC Campus in
Vijayawada.
Organized under the aegis of Academy of Eye-care Education-LVPEI, IVI
has been associated with eight LAPs so far.
Through a mix of didactic lectures and case studies, the program focused
on understanding low vision and providing eye care and rehabilitation to
patients.
