Evidence Based Glaucoma Practice-Role of Optometry - Part II

The final seminar of the two-part online seminar on ‘Evidence Based Glaucoma Practice-Role of Optometry’ was presented by Dr. Ramesh S.Ve, Associate Professor, Department of Optometry, SOAHS, Manipal University on Tuesday, 09 December 2014. 

Dr. Ramesh spoke about importance of medical history, family history and ethnicity in glaucoma, various systemic diseases and glaucoma, comprehensive ophthalmic examination, screening techniques for PACS, techniques for ONH analysis, visual fields, and co-relation of disc and fundus findings with perimetry results during the presentation. 

Twelfth in the IVI online seminar series, the session witnessed participation from various optometry schools across the country with an attendance of approximately 120 students.
