India Vision Institute organized the fifth in series of one-day workshops on Advancements in Progressive Addition Lenses (PALs) on 16 June at CL Gupta Eye Institute, Moradabad. Facilitated by Srikanth M, Faculty, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Ankit Sakhuja and Rajender Sharma from Essilor India Pvt Ltd, Delhi, the workshop was focused on current trends and technologies in PALs, digital advancements in PALs, and will include a hands-on session on troubleshooting, role plays and product updates by Essilor.
The workshop was attended by over 30 Optometry practitioners, Opticians and Optometry students from Uttar Pradesh. The workshop was accredited by Optometry Council of India. Earlier workshops were held at Hyderabad, Navsari, Nagpur and Mangalore and was attended by over 120 participants, including practicing Optometrists, Optometry educators, Opticians, Optical Dispensers and final year Optometry students.
